Thywill is a brand and product design studio based in Bend, Oregon. We specialize in building complete brand systems for consumer brands from identity and packaging architecture to 3D visualization, CAD engineering, and motion.
Both. We believe brand identity and packaging design are the same conversation. One informs the other. We build them together so nothing gets lost in translation.
We design packaging in 3D before it ever gets produced. That means every structural decision, material choice, and brand detail is resolved digitally to exact manufacturing tolerances before anything goes to factory.
We work in clearly defined phases to keep projects focused and efficient. Most engagements follow this structure:
Onboarding & Discovery → Brand Strategy → Identity & Design → Engineering & Production → Launch & Motion
You're involved at every decision point. No disappearing acts, no big reveals. Transparency and communication from kickoff to delivery and beyond.
Both and we like it that way. Project work keeps us sharp. Launching brands, engineering packaging, and building 3D systems from scratch is where we do our best thinking. Retainers keep us close to the brands we believe in, supporting key moments in their growth and evolving their systems as they scale. For the right companies we also enter equity partnerships. Those are our favorite engagements when we're invested in the outcome as much as our clients are.
Most project engagements run between 3 and 6 months. Full system builds run longer. Retainers start at 6 months with preferred rates for 12 month plus relationships. Timing is outlined clearly before any project begins.

Once we're aligned on scope and onboarding is complete, kickoff is typically scheduled within two weeks. You'll receive a detailed project timeline so you always know exactly where we are and what's coming next.
